standard.C.math.asin

asin is available since version 1.0.

Prototype:

number asin(number sine)

Parameters

sine

[in] Value whose arcsine is to be calculated, where -1 <= sine <= 1.

Description:

Returns the arcsine of sine in the range -M_PI/2 to M_PI/2 radians.
If sine is less than -1 or greater than 1, asin returns an indefinite by default.

Return value:

Returns the arcsine of sine in the range -M_PI/2 to M_PI/2 radians
